Mount Pleasant Baptist Church uses photographs, videos and voice recordings and other similar media of minors and adults, for many purposes. These materials may appear in print, on our Web site (as photos, videos or other forms), in church-member emails, as well as in presentations and gatherings of both church members and non-members. In addition, these materials may be given to or used by the news media in their news coverage or similar forms of media communication, with or without the permission of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Mount Pleasant Baptist Church reserves the right to use any photograph or video taken at any service on church grounds, or event sponsored by Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, without the expressed written permission of those included within the media form.

To ensure the privacy of individuals and children, images will not be identified using full names or personal identifying information without written approval from the photographed subject, parent or legal guardian.

A person attending Mount Pleasant Baptist Church who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the camera operator, and/or the event organizers, and/or contact Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in writing of his/her intentions and include a photograph. Mount Pleasant Baptist Church will use the photo for identification purposes and will hold it in confidence.

By participating in a Mount Pleasant Baptist Church service or event or by failing to notify Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, in writing, your desire to not have your photograph used by Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, you are agreeing to expressly release Mount Pleasant Baptist Church (including her directors, membership and staff) from any and all claims which you may have for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, copyright infringement or any other causes of action arising out of the use, adaptation, reproduction, distribution, broadcast or exhibition of such photographs, videos, voice recordings and the like.

Any person or organization not affiliated with Mount Pleasant Baptist Church may not use, copy, alter or modify Mount Pleasant Baptist Church photographs, graphics, videography or other, similar reproductions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized person from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
